Lamborghini Huracan launched in India at Rs. 3.43 crore

Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has launched its latest entry-level supercar, the Huracan LP610-4 in India at a price of Rs. 3.43 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Huracan is powered by a Euro-6 compliant, 5.2-litre, V10 engine producing 602 bhp @ 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. This power is transmitted to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Lamborghini claims that the Huracan can do a 0-100 kph sprint in 3.2 seconds, while 200 kph comes up in 9.9 seconds. It can reach a stop speed of more than 325 kph. The car also features a start/stop technology which helps it achieve a claimed combined EU consumption figure of 12.5 km/l and CO2 emissions of 290 g/km.

The Huracan’s steering wheel has a driving dynamics selector switch with modes – strada, sport and corsa. Stopping power comes from carbon-ceramic brakes, which are included in the list of standard equipment. The car runs on 20-inch wheels.

The Huracan has a hybrid chassis, combining carbon-fibre and aluminium elements, which is said to make it light. The dry weight of the car is 1,422 kg.

On the inside, Lamborghini have provided a 12.3 inch TFT instrument panel that can be configured in a number of different modes and provides the driver with all key information in a virtual format. Owners can individualise the interior of the Huracan to their preferences.

The Huracan replaces the Gallardo, which has been Lamborghini's most successful model ever with 14,022 units produced.
