The Lamborghini Temerario has been officially launched in India. The supercar is being offered at a base price of Rs 6 crore (ex-showroom).
The Temerario is the replacement for the Huracan. The baby Lambo carries forward the sleek, wedge-shaped design. It has a low and flat front fascia with slim LED headlamps and hexagonal LED DRLs, and a central exhaust at the back flanked by hexagonal LED taillights.
Inside, the Temerario gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.4-inch vertical infotainment system. It has a new 3-spoke steering wheel and an additional 9.1-inch screen on the passenger side.
For the first time, Lamborghini’s entry-level supercar uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It features a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors and an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
The internal combustion engine produces 789 BHP and 729 Nm, while the electric motors add another 148 BHP and 300 Nm for a total of 920 BHP. It comes with a 3.8 kWh battery pack, which can be charged in 30 minutes using a 7 kW AC charger. Lamborghini claims that the Temerario can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and has a top speed of 340 km/h.
