Lamborghini Urus S launched at Rs 4.18 crore

The Urus S weighs 47 kg more than the flagship Urus Performante.

Lamborghini has launched the Urus S in India. The high-performance SUV is priced at Rs 4.18 crore (ex-showroom).

The Urus S is positioned below the Urus Performante. It weighs 47 kg more than the Performante and gets different wheels and fewer carbon fibre details. Lamborghini has also made a few cosmetic changes to the exterior, including new bumpers and a bonnet.

The interiors of the Urus S look similar to the flagship Performante variant. It gets leather upholstery as standard, which can be upgraded to Alcantara in several colour choices.

Powering the Urus S is the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that makes 657 BHP and 850 Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

The SUV rides on air suspension and comes with three drive modes: Strada, Sport and Corsa; and three additional off-road modes: Sabbia, Neve and Terra. Lamborghini claims a 0-100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h.
