Lewis Hamilton wins the 2018 Brazilian GP

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has won the 2018 Brazilian Grand Prix ahead of Red Bull's Max Verstappen, while Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen finished in third place.

Hamilton started from pole position, but it was Verstappen who looked set to win the race. However, a collision with Esteban Ocon's Force India on lap 44 cost the Dutchman victory in Brazil. Verstappen spun out handing over the lead of the race to Hamilton. While Ocon was handed a 10-second penalty for causing the collision, Verstappen will be taking part in 2 days of public service for his post-race altercation with the Force India driver.

Raikkonen managed to finish on the podium in his 150th race start for Ferrari. Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo finished in fourth place ahead of the Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas. Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) started alongside Hamilton on the front row but had a slow start. Verstappen passed him on lap 3. Vettel finished in sixth place.

Charles Leclerc (Sauber Ferrari) finished in seventh place ahead of Haas drivers Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen. Sergio Perez (Force India) finished in 10th place.

With its drivers finishing in first and fifth in Brazil, Mercedes has secured the 2018 World Constructor's Championship with one race to go. The final race will be held in Abu Dhabi on November 25, 2018.
