Lexus LX500d priced at Rs 2.82 crore in India

The Lexus LX500d shares its underpinnings with the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300.

Lexus India has silently announced the price of the LX500d. The SUV costs Rs 2.82 crore (ex-showroom).

The Lexus LX500d shares its underpinnings with the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 and will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU). Dealerships had reportedly started accepting bookings back in October itself.

The LX500d is powered by a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine that develops 305 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 700 Nm @ 1,600-2,600 rpm. The engine will be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

Like the Land Cruiser, the LX500d also gets a massive chrome grille up front, flanked by LED headlamps and LED fog lamps. The 5-seater SUV measures 5.1 meters in length and offers a ground clearance of 210 mm, when fitted with the optional 22-inch rims.

Inside, the LX500d comes equipped with a dual-screen setup comprising of a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit and a 7.0-inch screen for climate control functions and other information.
