Finally had a chance to take the TD of Innova Hycross today. Loved the drive.
- The cabin is silent, road noise is minimal.
- Experienced ADAS for the first time and it worked as expected on well marked lanes.
- ADAS can also be helpful in stop-n-go traffic. ADAS can come to a complete stop and resume driving from a standstill once I confirm with a button press on the steering wheel.
- The visibility from the driver seat is great all-around.
- The 360 degree camera resolution is not the best, but should be manageable I guess.
- The ventilated seats made little to no difference. It should be more powerful, or maybe just this TD vehicle has a issue with its ventilated seats.
- The car lacks Wireless Android Auto. Not sure if this is a hardware limitation or software one. Could not find this same infotainment in any other Toyota.
- I would love to have ambient lighting all around the cabin on the door panels. This would have helped the car feel more premium inside the cabin.
The SA was great. Just the fact that Madhuban Toyota is not ready to negotiate on the Hycross. The SA said that we cannot choose selective accessories nor I can ask them to remove the acccessories Kit and TGloss from the quotation. Also, they are ready to take the booking amount and the down payment as well on a CC without any extra charges. I might just go ahead and pay the 50K booking amount.
