Looking back on my Innova Hycross ownership; 1 year & 10,000 km

It's easy to manoeuvre and drive. Also, returns good fuel efficiency

BHPian pach recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

My Hycross has completed its first year and has just returned from its 10,000 km service. Looking back, I am very happy with my purchase.

Service Summary:

  • General inspection at 10,000 km.
  • Synthetic oil change (5 litres), including gasket and filter replacement.
  • Refill of windshield washer fluid.
  • Wheel balancing, alignment, and rotation.
  • Application of silencer coating.

The first 3 items are FOC under the AMC package. The total bill, inclusive of GST, was 6k. The service was completed efficiently within 3 hours, and I am pleased with the professionalism of Nandi Toyota, Kanakapura Road, Bangalore.

What I Like about Hycross:

  • The cabin is exceptionally quiet, especially within city limits.
  • It's easy to manoeuvre and drive.
  • My family of four loves the spacious and airy cabin.
  • Good fuel efficiency.

Things that can be better:

  • The headlights have a poor light throw, causing visibility issues in rainy conditions.
  • There's no proper space for a phone; it often ends up in the cup holder. Additionally, there is no sunglass holder.
  • The infotainment system has low resolution, and the steering buttons are not intuitive.
