Made-in-India Lexus ES BS6 is Rs. 8.05 lakh cheaper

Lexus has started local CKD assembly of the ES sedan in India. As a result, prices of the car have dropped by Rs. 8.05 lakh. The ES 300h BS6 is available in two variants - Exquisite and Luxury priced at Rs. 51.90 and Rs. 56.95 lakh (ex-showroom, India) respectively.

The Lexus ES 300h is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine combined with a 4th-gen Lexus Hybrid Drive System that delivers a combined output of 215 BHP. The engine is mated to an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT) and has 3 driving modes - Eco, Normal and Sport.

The ES 300h comes with leather interiors and a 12.3-inch infotainment head-unit. It has a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster and a colour head-up display.
