Made-in-India MG Hector exports to Nepal begin

In Nepal, the Hector is available with the 1.5-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines.

MG Motor India has commenced exports of the Hector to Nepal, making it the first made-in-India MG product to be exported to the Himalayan nation.

MG has appointed Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd. as its official dealer partner to handle sales and service for the brand. This is said to be the first step towards expanding the brand's footprint across other South Asian countries.

The MG Hector was launched in India in May 2019. The SUV is manufactured at Halol, Gujarat. In Nepal, it will be offered with the same engine options. These include a 141 BHP 1.5-litre petrol paired with either a 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT or a CVT and a 168 BHP 2.0-litre diesel mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
