The Magnite is scheduled to go on sale on December 2.

Nissan has beefed up its sales and service network just days ahead of the launch of the Magnite crossover. The carmaker has announced that it has added 20 new sales and 30 new service outlets across India.

Nissan also has a virtual showroom that offers an interactive product experience to customers. The car maker offers an online configurator and a virtual test-drive feature which allows customers to take a test drive from their home on their personal device.

Everything from booking to delivery including the finance process has been digitalized. Nissan also offers doorstep service including pick-up and drop.

The Magnite is scheduled to go on sale on December 2, 2020. The crossover will be offered in 8 trim levels. These include the base XE, XL, XV, XV with Tech Pack, XV Premium, XV Premium with Tech Pack, XV Premium (O) and XV Premium (O) with Tech Pack.

The Magnite will come with two engine options. These include a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 71 BHP @ 6,250 rpm and 96 Nm @ 3,500 rpm and a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol unit that makes 99 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 160 Nm @ 2,800-3,600 rpm. Both engines will be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Magnite will also be offered with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) mated to the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. However, in the CVT version, peak torque has been limited to 152 Nm @ 2,200-4,400 rpm.
