Mahindra Adventure Season 8 calendar revealed

Mahindra Adventure has revealed the schedule for activities planned in 2018. New destinations have been added to the calendar that includes a multi-day expedition to Everest Base Camp called 'The Summit'. Great Escape will be going to two new destinations - Vishakhapatnam and Chennai and a new Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) rally will be held in the deserts of Rajasthan.

'The Summit' will be held from September 22 to October 1, 2018. The flag off will be held at Kathmandu, before heading to Nyalam and Tibet. The convoy will enter China via the Friendship Bridge route and drive to Lhasa, Tibet. 

In 2018, Trail Drive for 2WD and 4WD vehicles will be held at 10 locations. Off-road Trophy rounds will be limited to 5 zones and winners from each zone will compete at the Mahindra Off-Roading Trophy - Grand Finale. The winner will receive a new Mahindra Thar CRDe 4x4. 

Desert Challenge events will be held in Rajasthan and will feature dune tracks and other off-road obstacles. Each team will be provided with 4WD Scorpios.

Meanwhile, the annual Monastery Escape will be flagged off from Delhi and will reach Leh via the Manali-Leh highway with halts at Manali, Jispa and Tso Moriri. Later the convoy will drive towards Kargil and visit the Zanskar Valley and Batalik.
