Mahindra and Ford announce strategic partnership

Mahindra and Ford have agreed to jointly explore strategic cooperation with an aim to drive growth in the Indian market and at the same time expand into other emerging markets. Both car makers have agreed to collaborate and work together for a period up to 3 years. 

Both companies will be considering potential cooperation in areas such as future mobility and connected vehicle projects, electrification, product development as well as sourcing and commercial efficiencies.

Ford would be looking to use Mahindra's extensive distribution network within India, while Mahindra will benefit from Ford's global reach, especially in emerging markets. Further cooperation will be decided after the end of the three years.
