Mahindra Bolero facelift spotted with minimal camouflage

A partially camouflaged version of the upcoming Mahindra Bolero facelift has been spotted testing. The test mule has been camouflaged in specific areas, pointing that Mahindra has slightly refreshed the Bolero's design. This facelift will likely be just a cosmetic update, without any changes to the Bolero's mechanicals.

The spy shots reveal that the Bolero facelift will get a reworked rear bumper, a redesigned tail lamp cluster, and a smaller tailgate handle. The front end hasn't been revealed in the spy shots, but it is expected to feature a new bumper, a redesigned grille, and a fresh pair of headlamps.

This facelift is Mahindra's attempt to keep the Bolero name popular in the UV market, before a comprehensively updated next-gen Bolero arrives in 2018-19.

The facelifted Bolero won't get any changes under the hood, as it will continue to be powered by a 2.5-litre m2DiCR engine that generates 63 BHP @ 3,200 rpm and a peak torque of 195 Nm @ 1,400-2,200 rpm. This engine comes coupled to a 5-Speed manual gearbox.
