Mahindra KUV100: more images

More images of the Mahindra KUV100 have surfaced on the internet ahead of its launch on January 15, 2016.

While most of the images do not reveal anything that has not been covered before, there are some pictures that show the front seating arrangement, roof console, the boot of the vehicle and the mFalcon diesel engine of the car.

The KUV100 has a 3+3 seating configuration with three seats at the front and three at the back. The backrest of the middle seat in the front can be folded forward and serves as a wide armrest for the driver and passenger. The centre console of the car does not extend to the floor, thus making room for the front occupant's legs while seated in the middle.

The vehicle gets a manually adjustable day-night IRVM. The roof console consists of buttons for the cabin lights, Bluetooth mic and what could be a sunglass holder.

The boot of the KUV100 appears to be rather small with a high loading lip. The mouth of the boot is narrow.

The headlamp clusters stretch back almost all the way back to the A-Pillars and include red detailing. "TUV100" and "Powered by mFalcon" branding is incorporated in them.

The images also show the new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, mFalcon diesel engine that powers the KUV100. It is a BS-IV compliant unit that produces 77 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 190 Nm of torque @ 1,750-2,250 rpm. The car comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
