Mahindra launches Jeeto CNG at Rs. 3.49 lakh

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has launched a CNG variant of its mini-truck - Jeeto, at a price of Rs. 3.49 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The CNG Variant will be available only on the top end model of the Jeeto X7-16.

The Jeeto CNG is powered by a 625 cc engine that delivers 16 BHP and 38 Nm of torque at 1200 – 2000 rpm, while being mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. Mahindra claims that the Jeeto CNG can deliver a fuel economy figure of 33.2 km/l. It has a payload capacity of 700 kg, with a deck length of 6.5 feet. The Jeeto X7-16 is 3,581mm long, 1,485 mm wide, and has a height of 1,750mm.

The Jeeto mini-truck was launched in India in June 2015. Mahindra currently offers 8 models under the Jeeto brand name, which has been divided into three series: L, S and X. All these models are placed in the sub 1 tonne load segment. The diesel variant of the Jeeto has a company-claimed efficiency of 37.6 km/l.
