Mahindra Marazzo variant details out

According to a media report, the upcoming Mahindra Marazzo MPV will be offered in four trim levels - M2, M4, M6 and M8.

The base M2 variant will get features like power windows, central locking, USB charging point for rear passengers, air-conditioning with roof-mounted rear AC vents and manually adjustable ORVMs. It will get 16-inch steel wheels. 

The M4 variant gets electrically operated ORVMs, rear washer and wiper, shark fin antenna, wheel caps, height adjustable driver seat, USB socket for front row and USB and Aux-in for rear passengers.

The M6 variant gets projector headlamps with cornering lamps and follow me home feature, front and rear fog lamps and 16-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, this variant gets front seats with adjustable lumbar support and fabric upholstery, keyless entry, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and personal reminder and multi-function steering wheel. It comes with a conversation mirror, illuminated passenger side vanity mirror and sunglass holder. It also gets safety features like rear parking sensors and emergency call feature.

The top-spec M8 variant gets 17-inch machined alloy wheels, LED DRLs and puddle lamps. It comes with features such as a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, cruise control, automatic climate control, reverse camera with display, leatherette upholstery, dual USB ports for front and rear passengers and power folding ORVMs.

Safety features like dual front airbags, passenger side airbag off-switch, speed sensing auto door lock, ABS with EBD and brake assist as well as ISOFIX child safety seat anchors will be offered as standard across all variants.

Mahindra is yet to reveal the Marazzo's engine specifications. However, reports suggest that it could be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine, which puts out 128 BHP and 300 Nm of torque. Initially, the Marazzo is expected to be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission, while an automatic gearbox could be introduced at a later date.
