Mahindra Quanto facelift - more images

A test mule of the upcoming Mahindra Quanto facelift has been spotted once again.

The sub-four-metre utility vehicle is likely to get a restyled front end with new headlamps, fog lamps, grille and bumper. The bonnet of the vehicle appears to sport an air-scoop. The side profile of the Quanto is likely to be unchanged. At the rear, changes are expected to the bumper and the tail-lights. The Quanto is expected to get redesigned alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Quanto is likely to get a beige dashboard, a new steering wheel and better cushioned seats with improved lumbar support. Mahindra could provide an updated audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and voice commands as well.

Coming to mechanical changes, the Quanto is expected to get a reworked suspension with extra bushes and a rear stabilizer bar. These changes will be in line with those made to the Xylo in 2014.

The engine and gearbox of the Quanto are expected to continue unchanged. An automated manual transmission version of the car is likely to be launched later this year. Mahindra is also rumoured to be testing a variant of the Quanto with a 2.2-litre diesel engine and four-wheel drive. However, this version will be sold in international markets only.
