Mahindra Quanto facelift spotted again; gets DRLs

The upcoming Mahindra Quanto facelift has been spotted again, this time on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The new images reveal a little more about the sub four-metre MUV.

The heavy cladding suggests that the Quanto will get a revised front fascia. The image indicates that headlamps of the vehicle will be redesigned and could sport LED daytime running lights as well. Other changes at the front include a new bonnet with a scoop, a new grille, and bumper and redesigned fog lamps. Viewed from the side, the Quanto appears unchanged. At the rear, the Quanto is expected to get a redesigned bumper and new tail-lights. A new set of alloy wheels is also likely.

Coming to the interiors, the Quanto is likely to get a beige dashboard, a new steering wheel and reworked seats with better cushioning and improved lumbar support. Other changes expected are an updated audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and voice commands.

While the Quanto is likely to continue with the same 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine and 5-speed manual gearbox as the current model, it is expected to get a reworked suspension like the Xylo. An automated manual transmission-equipped version of the MUV is also expected in the coming months. There are rumours of a 1.2-litre petrol engine as well.

An official word from Mahindra regarding the launch date of the Quanto facelift is awaited.
