Mahindra recalls 19,000+ units of XUV700 & Scorpio-N

6,618 units of the Scorpio-N and 12,566 units of the XUV700 equipped with manual transmissions are affected by this recall

Mahindra has recalled over 19,000 units of the XUV700 and Scorpio-N over a clutch bell housing issue.

According to the carmaker, 6,618 units of the Scorpio-N and 12,566 units of the XUV700 equipped with manual transmissions are affected by this recall to inspect the rubber bellow found inside the clutch bell housing.

As per the official statement, a sorting error at the supplier’s plant may have affected the operational dimensional clearance of the rubber bellow inside the bell housing. Owners of vehicles assembled between July 1 and November 11, 2022 need to get the part inspected and replaced if necessary.

Customers would be individually contacted by the dealership. The inspection and rectification of the faulty component will be done free of cost.
