Mahindra seems to have launched the Scorpio Special Edition once again. The car was previously offered by the company in October 2013 at a price of Rs. 11.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Special Edition's interior features beige and tan leather interiors, integrated roof-mounted DVD player with a 9-inch screen, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob and wood-finish central bezel. Other equipment includes dual front airbags and chrome-finish alloy wheels.
Mechanically, there are no changes to the Scorpio. It continues to use the 2.2-litre, mHawk diesel engine, which puts out 120 bhp and 290 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Only 500 units of the Scorpio Special Edition will be made.
