Mahindra Thar Roxx waiting period stretches to 2026

More than 1.76 lakh vehicles were booked within the first hour following the opening of bookings.

The waiting period for the Mahindra Thar Roxx now stretches to 2026. According to the carmaker, customers who book the Thar Roxx can expect deliveries in the next 9 to 15 months, depending on the variant.

The Thar Roxx was launched in August this year. More than 1.76 lakh vehicles were booked within the first hour following the opening of bookings. As production capacity is currently limited to 9,500 units per month, Mahindra has a huge order backlog for the Thar Roxx.

To cater to the demand, Mahindra plans to increase total production capacity gradually. In the second phase, Thar production could be boosted to 11,000 units per month.

The Thar Roxx is the 5-door version of the standard Thar. The SUV is available with either a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol or a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both engines are offered with a choice of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is available on the diesel variants.
