Mahindra trademarks 'Xdreno' name in India

The Xdreno range could include four compact and two full-size pickups. Some of these could be battery-powered.

Mahindra has trademarked the 'Xdreno' name in India. According to media reports, the name could be used for the upcoming range of pickup trucks based on the Bolero SUV.

Reports suggest that Mahindra is planning to launch 14 commercial vehicles in the coming years. The Xdreno range could include four compact and two full-size pickups. Some of these could be battery-powered.

Presently, Mahindra sells three pickup trucks based on the Bolero. These include the Pik-Up, Maxitruck Plus, and Camper.

The Indian carmaker also plans to launch a new generation of the Bolero between 2023 and 2026.
