Mahindra Treo e-rickshaws showcased at MOVE 2018

Mahindra showcased the Treo and Treo Yaari electric 3-wheelers at MOVE 2018 Global Mobility Summit earlier this month. They will be offered in two variants - D+3 and D+4.

The Treo range will be positioned in the last mile connectivity segment. It is built on a space frame chassis with a built-in crash guard. It features a hard-top and gets a digital instrument cluster. The Treo comes equipped with a lithium-ion battery that is IP-67 rated. Mahindra claims that the Treo has an operating cost of Rs. 0.50 per km.

The Treo and Treo Yaari come with connected features like remote monitoring of charge status, battery condition and location.
