Mahindra Two Wheelers to acquire Peugeot Motocycles

According to media report, Mahindra Two Wheelers Europe will fully acquire Peugeot Motocycles - a France-based two-wheeler company for an undisclosed amount.

At present, Mahindra Two Wheelers Europe controls 51% stake in Peugeot Motocycles, which produces 50-125cc scooters as well as a three-wheel scooter for the European market. The Kisbee is said to be one of the largest selling 50cc scooters in the region.

The report states that the acquisition will help Peugeot to launch 7 new products till 2021.
