Mahindra XEV 9e, BE 6 Pack Two with 79 kWh battery launched

Deliveries of the Pack Two 79 kWh variants will commence from the end of July.

Mahindra has introduced the larger 79 kWh battery pack in the Pack Two variants of its Born Electric SUVs. The Pack Two 79 kWh variants of the BE 6 and XEV 9e are priced at Rs 23.50 lakh and Rs 26.50 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

The Pack Two variants are powered by a single electric motor mounted on the rear axle. It produces 282 BHP and 380 Nm.

Mahindra claims the 79 kWh battery gives them a range of 500 km. It can be charged from 20-80% in 20 minutes using a 175 kW DC fast charger.

In terms of features, the Pack Two variants are equipped with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, a full glass roof, and Level 2 ADAS.

The XEV 9e features a triple-screen layout, while the BE 6 comes with a digital cockpit. The same sage leatherette interior from the Pack Three variant is now available in the BE 6 Pack Two.

Deliveries of the BE 6 and XEV 9e Pack Two 79 kWh variants will commence from the end of July.
