Mahindra XUV 3XO awarded 5 stars by Bharat NCAP

The Mahindra XUV 3XO AX7L and MX2 variants were used for the crash test evaluation.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO has been awarded a 5-star rating by Bharat NCAP. The SUV scored 29.36 points for adult occupant protection and 43 points for child occupant safety.

In the frontal offset barrier test, the XUV 3XO offered good protection to the head, neck and upper legs of the driver and passenger. It offered adequate protection to the chest lower legs of the driver and good protection to the chest and lower body of the passenger.

The XUV 3XO offered good protection to the occupants in the side movable barrier and side pole impact tests.

Bharat NCAP used two variants of the XUV 3XO for its crash safety evaluation: AX7L and MX2. The SUV comes equipped with front airbags, side head curtain airbags, side chest and side pelvis airbags as standard. Other safety features include seat belt pre-tensioners and load-limiters, seat belt reminders, ESC and ISOFIX.
