Mahindra XUV300 scores 5-star rating in Global NCAP tests

The Mahindra XUV300 was awarded 5 stars for adult occupant safety and 4 stars for child occupant safety in crash tests conducted by Global NCAP. The total score is more than the Tata Nexon and Altroz.

According to the test report, the car offered good protection to the driver and passenger's head and neck. It offered adequate and good protection to the driver and passenger's chest respectively. Passenger’s tibias showed good protection while the driver’s tibias showed adequate and good protection. Driver’s feet were adequately protected.

The child seat for the 3-year old was able to prevent excessive forward movement and offered fair protection to the chest. The car offered good protection to the 1.5-year old child's dummy.

The test car was equipped with dual airbags, seat belt pretensioners, seat belt reminder, ISOFIX and ABS.
