Mahindra XUV400 EV to be launched on September 8

The Mahindra XUV400 will compete with the Tata Nexon EV in the Indian market.

According to a media report, Mahindra will launch the XUV400 electric SUV on September 8, 2022.

The XUV400 is the all-electric version of the XUV300. Unlike the five new concepts that were showcased on August 15, the XUV400 shares its underpinnings with the internal combustion engine version. That being said, it will be slightly longer than four meters.

The XUV400 features a blanked-out front grille and rectangular headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. The charging port is located on the passenger side front fender. The EV could also get ADAS.

The XUV400 is likely to be powered by a single electric motor producing around 150 BHP. It could be offered with two battery pack options. However, details on the same are still unclear.
