Marc Llistosella will not join Tata Motors as CEO

Tata Motors is back in the hunt for a new CEO.

Tata Motors is looking for a new CEO as Marc Llistosella, whose name was announced for the top job, will not be joining the company. Llistosella was supposed to take charge from July 1, 2021.

Llistosella's appointment came as outgoing MD and CEO Guenter Butschek had expressed his desire to relocate to Germany at the end of his tenure. Butschek has accepted the request of the Board to continue till June 30, 2021.

Mr. Llistosella was the President and CEO of Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation and Head of Daimler Trucks in Asia. He has also been the MD and CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd.
