Rumours suggest that the Brezza CNG could be offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission

Maruti Suzuki has started dispatching the Brezza CNG to dealerships ahead of its official launch. The SUV was recently spotted at a dealer yard.

The CNG variant of the Brezza seen in these images is finished in a silver shade. The car is equipped with halogen headlamps and ORVMs with integrated turn indicators. It appears to be a lower variant as it doesn’t have fog lamps either.

The second image shows the luggage compartment of the Brezza with its factory-fitted CNG tank. Even with a large tank in the boot, there seems to be decent space for a couple of suitcases.

The Brezza CNG is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine calibrated to run on CNG. When running on petrol, this engine produces 104 BHP and 138 Nm, however, on CNG, the overall output is expected to drop slightly. Rumours suggest that Maruti might offer a 6-speed automatic transmission option with this car.
