Maruti Suzuki has issued a silent recall of the Dzire for a possible fault in the rear wheel hub. Around 21,494 units of the Dzire compact sedan manufactured between February 23, 2017 and July 10, 2017 have been affected.

The company has issued a notification about the recall on its website which suggests that owners of affected vehicles are being contacted since October 3, 2017. Owners are required to bring their cars in for an inspection and get the faulty part replaced free of cost.

Dzire owners can check if their cars are affected or not by entering their Vehicle Identification Number (MA3 followed by 14 digits) on Maruti Suzuki’s official website.
