Maruti Ignis facelift brochure leaked

The brochure of the upcoming Maruti Ignis facelift has leaked online. The updated Ignis is expected to be launched at the 2020 Auto Expo.

According to the leaked brochure, the Ignis is likely to be offered in four variants - Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The automated manual transmission (AMT) option will be available on all variants, except for the base Sigma trim.

The Ignis facelift is likely to get a new grille with U-shaped chrome inserts, projector headlights with U-shaped LED daytime running lights, new bumper and skid plate. On the inside, the car is expected to get a new SmartPlay Studio infotainment head-unit.

Powering the Ignis will be a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 82 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm @ 4,200 rpm. The engine will be paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT.
