Maruti Ignis facelift spotted in India

The Maruti Ignis facelift has been spotted in India, suggesting that it is likely to be launched in the near future.

Images of the updated Ignis had first leaked in December 2019. The car gets a new grille with U-shaped chrome inserts. It has projector headlights with U-shaped LED daytime running lights. The front bumper houses circular fog lamps and has a silver skid plate. The new Ignis also has ORVMs with integrated indicators, black alloy wheels and roof rails.

In India, the refreshed Ignis is expected to be offered with a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
