Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG launched at Rs. 12.85 lakh

While CNG does take a toll on the overall output of the engine, it makes up for it with a fuel efficiency of 26.6 km/kg.

Maruti Suzuki has announced the launch of the Grand Vitara S-CNG. The SUV is available in two variants: Delta and Zeta, priced at Rs. 12.85 lakh and Rs. 14.84 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

The Grand Vitara S-CNG is powered by a 1.5-litre engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It produces 99 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 136 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. When running on CNG, the engine output drops to 87 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 121.5 Nm @ 4,200 rpm.

While CNG does take a toll on the overall output of the engine, it makes up for it with a fuel efficiency of 26.6 km/kg.

The Grand Vitara S-CNG comes equipped with features such as the SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Next Gen Suzuki Connect with over 40 connected features and 6-airbags.

The Grand Vitara is also available in mild-hybrid, strong-hybrid and all-wheel drive variants.
