Maruti Suzuki recalls Dzire Tour S over faulty airbags

Cars manufactured between August 6-16, 2022 are said to be equipped with a faulty ACU.

Maruti Suzuki recalled 166 units of the Dzire Tour S over a defective Airbag Control Unit.

According to the carmaker, cars manufactured between August 6-16, 2022 are said to be equipped with a faulty ACU, which in rare cases might malfunction during airbag deployment.

Maruti Suzuki will be replacing the ACU in the affected vehicles and has advised owners not to drive their cars till the ACU is replaced.

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified about the recall. Customers can also check if their vehicle is among those affected by the issue by entering MA3 followed by the 14-digit alphanumeric number on Maruti’s official website.
