Maruti Suzuki resumes production at Gujarat plant

Maruti Suzuki has restarted production of vehicles at its Gujarat plant.

Maruti Suzuki had shutdown production at all of its manufacturing units in India following the countrywide lockdown. As lockdown measures have been eased to promote economic activities, the carmaker has now resumed operations and will follow the guidelines issued by the government to prevent the spread of the infection.

Earlier this month, Maruti had restarted its Gurgaon and Manesar factories. It was not possible to resume operations at its Gujarat unit as it was in a containment zone.
