Maruti Vitara Brezza with AMT launched at Rs. 8.54 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the updated Vitara Brezza with Auto Gear Shift (AGS). The automated manual transmission (AMT) is available on 4 variants with prices starting at Rs. 8.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2018 Vitara Brezza gets minor cosmetic updates, which include new black finish alloy wheels and all-black interiors with colour-matched interior trim, while chrome grille and rear garnish are now standard across all variants. The top-spec ZDi+ variant comes with optional dual-tone bodywork.

The VDi AGS variant gets all the features from the VDi trim, which includes an infotainment system with 4 speakers and remote control, USB, Aux-in and Bluetooth connectivity, power windows, electric ORVMs, air-conditioning, central locking and keyless entry. 

The ZDi AGS trim comes with automatic climate control, alloy wheels, infotainment system with steering mounted audio and phone controls and ambient lighting, while the ZDi+ AGS variant gets additional features like SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment with navigation, voice commands and Apple Carplay and Mirror Link connectivity, electric foldable ORVMs, rain sensing wipers, cruise control, automatic headlamps, engine start / stop button among others.

The compact SUV is powered by a 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine which puts out 89 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and a peak torque of 200 Nm @ 1,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed AMT. Safety features like dual airbags, reverse parking sensors, ABS with EBD and high speed alert are now standard on all variants.

The Vitara Brezza AGS is available in 9 colour options - Autumn Orange with Pearl Arctic White roof, Autumn Orange, Blazing Red with Midnight Black roof, Fiery Yellow with Pearl Arctic White roof, Pearl Arctic White, Granite Grey, Premium Silver, Blazing Red and Fiery Yellow.
