Maruti Vitara Brezza BS6 facelift spied

Spy images of what appears to be the Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift have surfaced online.

The spy images suggest that the updated Brezza is likely to get minor cosmetic changes on the exterior. The car has a new chrome grille and redesigned twin-pod headlamp clusters. The dual-tone front bumper has a silver insert and a black skid plate.

This particular car has blacked-out A,B and C-pillars, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, black plastic cladding around the wheel arches and along the rocker panels, and black alloy wheels. However, it does not have fog lamps.

Under the bonnet, the new Brezza is expected to get a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that also powers the Ciaz and Ertiga. This engine produces 103 BHP and 138 Nm of torque. It could be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, while a 4-speed automatic transmission could be introduced later.

At present, the Vitara Brezza is only offered with a 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 89 BHP and 200 Nm of torque. It is available with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
