Maruti XL6 MPV revealed in new images

Maruti has released new images of the Ertiga-based XL6 MPV. The latest images reveal the car's front end and interior.

The Maruti XL6 has a trapezoidal grille with a chrome bar in the centre. It is flanked by new wraparound headlamp clusters, which appear to be of the LED type. The car could also get a redesigned front bumper.

On the inside, the XL6 gets black interiors with faux wood trim and silver inserts on the dashboard. The dashboard houses a touchscreen infotainment system. The latest images also reveal the car's seating configuration. It has separate captain seats with armrests in the second row.

The Maruti XL6 is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology that is available on the Ciaz and Ertiga. It produces 103 BHP and 138 Nm of torque and comes paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
