Mercedes-Benz C 300 Cabriolet launched at Rs. 65.25 lakh

Mercedes-Benz has launched the C 300 Cabriolet in India. Prices for the convertible start at Rs. 65.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

The C 300 Cabriolet is based on the C-Class Coupe. At the front, the grille is flanked by sweptback LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. The front bumper features a wide air dam with vents on either side. At the rear, it has wraparound LED tail lights and a dual-tone bumper with twin chrome exhausts. The C 300 Cabriolet comes with a fabric roof and rides on 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels. 

On the inside, it comes with dual-tone interiors with electric seats and an AIRCAP system which is claimed to reduce air turbulence inside the cabin when the roof is down. The centre console houses a 10.25-inch infotainment system which has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity options. The car comes with a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a twin-pod instrument cluster. Mercedes offers an optional 64 colour ambient lighting package along with open-pore walnut wood trim.

The C 300 Cabriolet is powered by a BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 255 BHP @ 5,800-6,100 rpm and a peak torque of 370 Nm @ 1,800-4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The car has a claimed top speed of 250 km/h and will reach 100 km/h from standstill in 6.2 seconds.

The Mercedes-Benz C 300 Cabriolet comes in 3 new colour options - Mojave Silver, Selenite Grey and Designo Selenite Grey Magno, along with Brilliant Blue, Obsidian Black, Polar White and Designo Hyacinth Red. The fabric soft top is available in dark red, dark blue, black and brown.
