Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine to be launched on March 25

The A-Class Limousine will be offered in three variants - A 200, A 200d and A 35 AMG.

Mercedes-Benz is gearing up to launch the A-Class Limousine in India on March 25, 2021.

In India, the A-Class Limousine will be offered in three variants - A 200, A 200d and A 35 AMG. The car will be assembled locally, including the AMG version.

The A-Class Limousine will be equipped with features such as a panoramic sunroof, 2-zone automatic climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, wireless charging, cruise control, reversing camera, touchscreen infotainment head-unit with touchpad and digital instrument cluster.

The A 200 will be powered by a 1.3-litre, turbo-petrol engine producing 161 BHP and 250 Nm, while a 2.0-litre diesel engine will power the A 200d. It produces 147 BHP and 320 Nm. The petrol engine will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the diesel will be mated to an 8-speed DCT.

The A 35 AMG will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine tuned to produce 302 BHP and 400 Nm. It is claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 225 km/h.
