Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 Celebration Edition launched at Rs 1.30 crore

The EQS 580 is powered by a 107.8 kWh battery pack that gives it a range of 857 km.

Mercedes-Benz has launched the updated EQS 580, called the 'Celebration Edition', in India. The pure-electric luxury sedan is priced at Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom) and is limited to just 50 units.

According to Mercedes-Benz, the Celebration Edition offers improved rear seat comfort courtesy of the ‘Rear Seat Comfort Package’, which includes 'Multi Contour Rear Seats' with massage function and lumbar support. The ‘Executive Seats’ can recline by up to 38 degrees, while the Chauffeur Package adds electronically tiltable front seats.

The interior of the car is wrapped in Nappa leather upholstery and comes with designer belt buckles in the front and rear. The car is equipped with MBUX AR for navigation with live images.

The EQS 580 features a dual-motor setup comprising two permanent synchronous electric motors, producing 516 BHP and 855 Nm. The car is powered by a 107.8 kWh battery pack that gives it a range of 857 km.
