Mercedes-Benz GLB India launch in December 2022

The GLB will be imported from Mexico as a 'completely built unit' (CBU).

According to a media report, Mercedes-Benz is likely to launch the GLB in India in December 2022. It is said that the SUV will be imported from Mexico as a 'completely built unit' (CBU).

The Mercedes-Benz GLB is a 7-seater SUV, making it the only other 7-seater Mercedes apart from the GLS. It measures 4,744 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,892 mm. As a result, it has a more spacious cabin than the GLC.

The interior of the GLB is heavily inspired by the GLA. It has a similar dashboard featuring a dual-screen setup and circular air-con vents. It is also expected to get features like a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and voice commands.

In India, the GLB could be offered with a choice of petrol and diesel engines, with the 4Matic four-wheel drive system being offered on higher trims.
