The Gloster SUV displays its off-road capabilities in new TVC.

MG has released a new video showcasing the Gloster's four-wheel drive capabilities and its terrain modes.

In the video, the Gloster can be seen tackling different kinds of terrain from a rocky trail to a sandy desert. The SUV has a rotary drive mode selector with Rock, Sand, Mud and Snow modes. It has a separate rear differential lock button with a Borg Warner Transfer Case and a 5-link integral rear suspension.

Earlier, MG had released a teaser video detailing the Gloster's advanced safety features. It is said to be India's first SUV with Level 1 autonomous capabilities. Besides the standard safety equipment like airbags and ABS, the SUV will also get automatic park assist, radar guided cruise control and automatic emergency braking. It is also equipped with other Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring and forward collision warning.

The MG Gloster will be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, twin-turbo diesel engine producing 215 BHP and 480 Nm. The engine is likely to be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and a shift-on-fly 4WD system.
