MG Hector facelift to be launched on January 7, 2021

The Hector gets a range of updates including a redesigned exterior and a dual-tone interior with new features.

According to a media report, MG is set to launch the Hector facelift on January 7, 2021.

The updated Hector gets a redesigned front grille that has chrome inserts and a reworked rear fascia with a black garnish instead of the red strip. The SUV rides on new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. 

The Hector facelift also gets a dual-tone interior just like the Hector Plus. The SUV is expected to get new features including an auto dimming IRVM.

The MG Hector facelift is likely to be offered with the same set of engines as the current car. These include a 168 BHP 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine producing 141 BHP and 250 Nm mated to 6-speed DCT as well as a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
