MG Hector facelift spied with new headlights and tail lights

The MG Hector facelift has been spotted in Ahmedabad. The SUV is likely to get new headlamps and tail lights.

The spy images suggest that the updated Hector could get revised LED daytime running lights. The headlamps, which on the Hector are positioned on the front bumper, appear to have a new housing with silver inserts. The tail lights also appear to be new.

Besides the lights, the new Hector could also get a redesigned rear skid plate with chrome inserts in the shape of exhaust tips.

The MG Hector is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 141 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque @ 1,600-3,600 rpm and a 2.0-litre diesel with 168 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of torque @ 1,750-2,500 rpm. The petrol hybrid variant uses a 48-volt lithium-ion battery that offers an additional 20 Nm of torque assistance when required. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic.
