MG Hector Plus facelift with rear captain seats spied

The Hector Plus facelift will be mechanically identical to the outgoing model but is likely to get ADAS.

MG is gearing up to launch the Hector facelift early next month, followed by the debut of the 2023 Hector Plus later in the year. The latter has now been spotted for the first time in India.

The new Hector Plus could also get a heavily revised front end similar to the Hector facelift. The heavily camouflaged test mule appears to have a redesigned grille flanked by LED daytime running lights and LED headlamps positioned on the front bumper. The rear of the SUV looks largely similar to the outgoing model.

Inside, the Hector Plus gets brown upholstery with separate captain seats in the second row. The SUV is likely to come equipped with a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 3-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster. The updated model will also be available with ADAS.

The new Hector Plus will be mechanically identical to the outgoing model. It will continue to use the same 2.0-litre diesel, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrains.
