MG Hector revealed in new exterior & interior images

New images of the India-spec MG Hector have surfaced online. The latest set of images reveal the exterior as well as the interior of the SUV. It will be officially unveiled on May 15, 2019.

The MG Hector has a large hexagonal grill with slim LED daytime running lights on either side. The dual-tone front bumper has a silver scuff plate and houses the main headlamps and fog lamps. The headlight cluster gets C-shaped chrome surrounds. At the rear, the Hector has wraparound tail lights with a chrome tail gate garnish and dual-tone bumper with silver inserts. The SUV has a roof spoiler and silver roof rails as well as dual-tone alloy wheels. 

The MG Hector gets dual-tone interiors with leather upholstery. The dashboard has beige leather and silver trim. The centre console houses a vertically oriented touchscreen infotainment system. It has a leather wrapped 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a twin-pod instrument cluster with a large MID in the centre. The instrument cluster comes with an anti-clockwise tachometer and the MID shows which door is open. The door pads come with leather upholstery and silver trim.

The rear seats of the Hector have a 60:40 split, three adjustable headrests and a centre armrest. The luggage compartment has a rectractable parcel shelf. A remote boot release button has been provided on the key.

The MG Hector is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 171 BHP and 350 Nm of torque, a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit with 141 BHP and 250 Nm, as well as a petrol hybrid.
