MG has showcased the Majestor SUV at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo. It is essentially the updated version of the Gloster.
The MG Majestor is a 3-row SUV with a bold design. It has a large, upright octagonal grille at the front flanked by vertically stacked LED headlamps and slim LED DRLs. The rear features a pair of wraparound LED taillights connected by an LED light bar and a chunky rear bumper with dual chrome-tipped exhausts.
MG hasn’t revealed the interior of the Majestor. However, the SUV is expected to be equipped with a free-standing 12.3-inch touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster. It could also get features like a panoramic sunroof, 3-zone automatic climate control, and ventilated seats with heating and massaging function.
The MG Majestor will be sold alongside the Gloster in India. It is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing 213 BHP and 478 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV will also get a 4x4 option.
