Mini Aceman EV Concept globally unveiled

The crossover will be positioned between the Mini hatchback and Countryman SUV.

Mini has unveiled its all-new all-electric Aceman Concept. The Aceman EV concept showcases the brand's future design language. It is scheduled to make its live debut at Gamescon 2022 in Cologne, Germany.

Once in production, the crossover will be positioned between the Mini hatchback and Countryman SUV. The Aceman EV Concept measures 4.05 m in length, 1.99 m in width and 1.59 m in height. This makes it 4 cm longer than the Mini Cooper and 4 cm taller than the Countryman. The Aceman EV rides on 20-inch wheels.

Although the Aceman EV concept showcases the future of the brand's design language, Mini has managed to retain many of its signature styling elements, which makes it instantly recognisable. However, the concept does feature a bunch of new design updates, including a set of re-designed headlamps, the front grille section is now replaced with a panel with an LED outline, muscular side profile and black cladding on the wheel arches and doors. The Aceman EV also comes with a prominent shoulder line and a tailgate spoiler. The tail lights retain the Union Jack-inspired lighting elements.

On the inside, the Aceman EV concept features a minimalistic design, with a large centrally-mounted circular OLED screen, which uses Mini's latest operating system. The cabin gets colourful upholstery made from sustainable materials.

Mini hasn't revealed the electric powertrain specifications on the Aceman EV concept.
